The list below is a tentative list. The teachers and myself are still in the brainstorming and collaborating.

2. Art ( tie-dying shirts)

3. Canoeing

4. Challenge Fence/Raging River
During this learning activity students will use 21-century skills such as communication, problem solving, and collaboration to work together to complete challenging tasks.
5. Cooperative Group Activities
This learning activity may be different depending on when your child participates. The first day, this activity provides name games and ice breakers for the students to get to know one another. After the first day, many students may have already learned about one another, so the focus of this activity changes to more cooperative and problem solving tasks.
6. Fishing
A parent volunteer whose child went through camp a few years ago leads this activity. When he went through with his son he was very discourage with this learning activity. Since then, he has volunteered to lead this learning activity and he also provides modern fishing gear for the students to use. In this learning activity, students have the chance to fish from shore and a pier as well as learn about different fish species in our area.
7. Geo Caching
Geo caching is high tech hide and seek. I hide "caches" in the woods and mark their coordinates on a GPS unit. Students will then work in small groups, with the help of an adult to use the GPS unit to lead them to the hidden caches.
8. Lake Study
Students will wear waders as they walk in the shallows of Lake Keesler and explore and learn about its aquatics environment.
9. Rocketry
Students will be organized in small teams of scientist with the goal of figuring out what the best variables are to create the highest- flying soda bottle. Using a soda bottle, water, and compressed air from a bike pump; students will strive to get the most hang time out of their bottle rocket.
10. Decision Making
Student participate in a teacher led activity that highlights the importance of good decision making and the effects that peer pressure can have on a situation.
